Former GUNS N' ROSES Drummer: ADLER'S APPETITE Revamped
December 20, 2005Former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler has parted ways with the entire ADLER'S APPETITE band that recorded the group's debut EP, including guitarist Keri Kelli (VINCE NEIL, SLASH'S SNAKEPIT),bassist Robbie Crane (VINCE NEIL, RATT) and singer Jizzy Pearl (RATT, LOVE/HATE). Also gone from the band is guitarist Craig Bedford, who performed with the group at some of their headlining shows earlier in the year (replacing Kelli). Adler will utilize an entirely new lineup of musicians for ADLER'S APPETITE's upcoming shows, including guitarist Michael Thomas (BEAUTIFUL CREATURES, TUFF) and, presumably, singer Sheldon Tarsha, who has fronted the group for the past few months since Pearl's departure.
ADLER'S APPETITE recently completed an Argentine tour with a lineup that consisted of Adler, Tarsha, bassist Chip Z'Nuff (ENUFF Z'NUFF),and guitarists Michael Thomas and JT Longoria (IZZY STRADLIN).
In 2006, ADLER'S APPETITE plan to release a full-length CD. Adler is also negotiating to have his long-overdue autobiography released with the plan to have it made into a motion picture in the future.
